Putting it Together
Mr. Smith always gave a lot of feedback and praise to build teacher-student connections. He frequently joked with the class, “I’m a mean teacher who likes some kids more than others.” It got the kids laughing and seeing that it’s not 100% work but more real. He also takes time to work one-on-one with students during downtimes.
